How to control Ego?

What is Ego? Ego is you. Ego is you about you. Ego is about our self.

Ego is combination of many over feelings; like over confidence, being over proud on our self, being over smart (in pessimistic way), and over show of your self. Before going to control ego, first we should know what is Ego.

Ego is basically the last step of over confidence, smartness, selfishness, and proudness. You get to the last step when your mind in not clean and by not clean I mean its very materialistic. As you are born in a very materialistic era you have plenty of materialistic fuel(depends on your environment) and just one incident is enough to start up fire which will burn you to ashes. You should learn to control ego because there is no way to finish ego, because it is made up of feelings which are important for you.

You gain ego when ever you do something which is wrong. Whenever you do something you do because it is you Dharma (If you don't know what is Dharma then read my blog The real Dharma) So if we know that what we are doing is are dharma/duty then why do we need to over react that "Look I completed my duty which was my responsibility! I know even others have completed responsibility but I am special, because I am a doofus!" This is complete shit.

There is one more way to control ego. Being Self Sacrificing. When you do work for someone else then there will be no reason to gain ego as the again it was your duty. Don't take Self Sacrificing pessimistic as its not about giving your all hard work's credit to someone else.
