Daughter....

The whole city was covered in rain with the half ground floors of buildings drowned. With no electricity, the Woman and her child were stuck. “Shealin come on we have to go” Matreka called her daughter.

Matreka was standing in front of the house’s door waiting for Shealin. She was going to the station to peak her husband, as all the transportation services were not available. It was dark in their house as there was no electricity and a blanket of darkness had fallen all over the city, so she decided to carry Matreka because she has nyctophobia. She was facing nyctophobia from 7 years of age. She is now able to control nyctophobia because of her well kind physiatrist who gave her the best treatment. But still, Matreka cared Shealin a lot due to this problem and used to treat her differently from others. But now everything is ok even their relationship has stabilized.

“Yes, coming mom” replied Shealin. She ran in the hall room, stopped, and remembered that she forgot to shut the lavatory’s light. “Oh, I think I forgot to shut the washroom’s light.” Shealin again ran inside. Matreka puffed and started to calculate yesterday’s shopping’s total amount which she already knew but to kill boredom. She waited a minute, looked at her watch, and called Shealin once again. Now she was a bit furious. She started to tap her feet and once again gave a voice to Shealin.

“That’s all. How much time will you take?” she yelled while walking towards the room. To enter any room in the house first everyone had to travel through a passage. Where there was a washbasin and entrains of the lavatory. And as there was no electricity Matreka was not able to differentiate between the wall of the passage and the path to the rooms. She first entered the room parallel to the passage. Without looking anywhere she directly entered the room, searched for Shealin in a furious mood, and found no one. She even checked the lavatory and still didn’t find Shealin. Then she went into the second room which was perpendicular to the passage. The room’s door was shut so she softly opened the door because it was very expensive. Matreka saw Shealin laying on the bed upside down with her hands twisted and her head fallen on the ground. The floor was full of blood and a few nasty white and transparent liquids falling from Shealin’s remaining sliced neck. Matreka screams and wakes up beside her husband. Her husband asks her “What happened? A nightmare?”

Matreka pants and looks here and there. She gets up and runs towards the other room. She watches Shealin sleeping peacefully, Matreka moves near her and kisses her. She comes back to her room and lays down beside her husband, who was reading a novel. “Holy God, what a bad nightmare.” expresses Matreka to her Husband or Gorge.

“Why, what happened?”

“Sorry, I don't want to discuss.”

“That’s ok,” replied Gorge. He continued “Why did you go into that room?”

“Ahh, to kiss our daughter. I had a nightmare about her. Very terrifying. But she is sleeping in peace”

“Ahh..Ahh-hh” Gorge hesitated and continued.

“But honey, we don’t have a daughter!”
